Description:

This is an reproduction of Kang Xi Da Dao. The Chinese Emperor Kangxi was one of most famous Emperors in Chinese history. This dao was used by him.

The blade is made from hand forged patten folded steel(damascus steel) tempered, quencened and etc.

The steel of blade has been hand folded for forging at least 12 times with 12000-18000 layers. So the blade is very hard suitable for combat purpose. HRC58!

The scabbard and handle are made out of solid aged ebony.   

The fittings are made from handmade brass with the carving of kirin, dragon, and plum blossom! Please understand that the process is all completed by handmade not machines, so much time and engergy to be spent in doing the carving.

The whole length is 105cm. The length of blade is 56cm. The handle length is 40cm. The width of blade is 4.4cm. The thickness of blade is 0.8cm.

The sword weight(without scabbard) is approx 1.7kg
