The sword blade has live sharp edge. The blade is made by the traditional way of making swords in longquan(thoroughly tempered, well-seasoned, much-steeled, go through fire and water) that has been hand folded at least 25 times so the blade is very hard and nice suitable for combat usage and cutting. The blade is sharpened! if you want it blunt, leave us a message. The blade is stiff not flexible.  

All slats on blade are handmade.

Scabbard and fittings:

The scabbard and handle are made from aged ebony covered with real stingary fishskin. The fittings are made from real copper with complicated handmade engraving!
