Description:

This is an reproduction of Kang Xi Da Dao. The Chinese Emperor Kangxi was one of most famous Emperors in Chinese history. This dao was used by him. The blade is made from hand forged patten folded steel(damascus steel) tempered, quencened and etc. The blade has live sharp edge and the steel of blade has been hand folded for forging at least 15 times with 12000 layers. So the blade is very hard suitable for combat purpose. The edge of blade has been clay tempered to make sure the edge of blade is both harder and sharpen.  

The scabbard and handle are made out of solid aged ebony covered with Genuine stingray skin very nice. The fittings are made from handmade brass with the carving of kirin, dragon, and plum blossom! Please understand that the process is all completed by handmade not machines, so much time and engergy to be spent in doing the carving. The unique way is that we also use Chinese traditional way of gilding real gold and silver on fittings.

This is a premium sword that would be customised only, it would take approx 10-20 days for production!
