Blade: The blade is diamond shaped made of hand-forged damascus steel with a finely polished finish. It has a full-tang making it strong and sturdy. The stiffness of the blade is moderate. (The blade is semi-hardness, not full flexible or full stiffness made and designed for advanced training of tai chi and other styles of Chinese wushu) The blade has been hand folded (mixed with super steel and Iron ore) at least 14 times by the traditional way of making swords in lonquan.

The blade is blunt. (If you want it sharpened, contact us for details.)

Scabbard and fittings: The scabbard and handle are made out of aged ebony, making them both very strong and aesthetically pleasing with a very dark, almost black wood color.   The fittings are made from solid brass gilded with real silver. The carving of fittings are handmade(the workers spent much time carving the design), and the carving of the dragon looks alive in the way of 3D carving with antique reproduction style.  

Specification:

The whole length is 104cm. The length of blade is 77cm, and 21cm handle length and the sword weight without scabbard is approx 0.9kg.   (Please contact us freely if you want to customize the length per your height)
