Blade:

The blade is diamond shaped made of hand-forged damascus steel with a finely polished finish.

It has a full-tang making it strong and sturdy.  

The sword blade has live sharp edge.

The blade has been hand folded (mixed with super steel and Iron ore) at least 13 times with 13000 layers made by the traditional way of making swords in China.

So, the blade is very hard and nice suitable for combat usage and cutting.

This blade is clay tempered to make sure the edge of blade is both hard and sharp.

Scabbard and fittings:

The scabbard and handle are made out of aged ebony, making them both very strong and aesthetically pleasing with a very dark, almost black wood color.

The fittings are made from solid brass gilded with pure silver and gold.

The carving of fittings are handmade(the workers spent much time carving and gilding the design) Gilding technology is traditional Chinese way to have expensive silver or gold on the metal artwork, passing over thousands of years!

There are several jades inlayed i the fittings.
