The blade is made from hand forged anti-acid 2cr13 stainless steel whose flexibility is much better than most of plain stainless steel material.

The scabbard and handle are made out of wenge/hualimu attached by brass fittings in the design of bat and Chinese characters(Fu), in Chinese culture, bat means Fu that stands for the Happiness and all goes all well in your life. its a fulltang sword.
