Blade:

The blade is diamond shaped made of hand-forged damascus steel with a finely polished finish.   

The sword blade has live sharp edge.

The steel of blade is forged based on clay steel-soft steel mixed with hard steel together made by the traditional way of making swords in longquan.

That has been hand folded at least 20 times with over 64000 layers forged time by time.

The edge of blade surface is totally hand grinded at least 13 procedures with the small rice and other materialS, time by time so thats why the edge of blade is a bit more bright than other area.

It is full-tang and made specifically for the fittings used making a tight and sturdy bond.

So the blade is very hard and nice and suitable for combat usage and cutting.

Please also note that the edge of blade has been clay tempered with real hamon to make sure the edge of blade is both hard and sharpened!!!!

The patten of feather on the blade is made well by the traditional way of making swords together with the element of blue and white porcelain in longquan, unique.

Scabbard and fittings:

The scabbard and handle are made out of old-aged Ipe hardwood.

The scabbard and handle are covered by genuine stingary skin.

The fittings on both the sword and scabbard are made from solid brass gilded with pure silver and 24kg gold engraved with dragon. You can see details of the carving that is handmade and super nice.

Specification:

The whole length is 105cm. The length of blade is 75cm. The length of handle is 27cm.

The overall weight without scabbard is 1.3kg.
