This unique Rosefinch sword is made well in Long Quan, a famous town to make traditional Chinese Swords over 2000 years.

Regarding this sword, the blade is made from hand forged damascus steel-the process of this steel is based on 3 pieces of steels folded together with differnt hardness, see below draft) that has been also hand folded at least 15 times so the blade is very hard and nice suitable for combating or cutting purpose.

The blade is also grinded by secret way of embresive at least 13 times.!!! HRC-59!

The scabbard and handle are made of hardwood covered by Genuine stingray skin-very nice! The fittings are made from handmade brass with dragon design gilded with silver and gold. The carving of fittings is complicated and much time and engergy in making it.

The fittings are made by the traditional way of hollow carving in the design of Chinese rosefinch.

The gilding technology is a traditional way of making premium decoration items since 2500 years ago.
